Tenuta Casa Cima

HOLIDAY HOME & VINEYARD
A paradise surrounded by palm trees and vineyards. Welcome to Tenuta Casa Cima.

Tenuta Casa Cima belongs to the Fondazione (Foundation) Kaspar e Sophie Spörri. We offer one typical Ticino-style stone house (Rustico) in the small village of Gudo. Gudo is a former municipality in the district of Bellinzona in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. It is located almost in the centre part of Bellinzona and  Locarno.

Ascona and Lugano can also be reached in a few minutes from this place. Visit the famous Verzasca Dam in only 16 minutes from us. The 220 m high dam wall of the Verzasca Valley is not only famous because it is one of the highest dam walls in Europe, but also because it filmed in the background for the opening scene of the James Bond film named GoldenEye with Pierce Brosnan.

Tenuta Casa Cima is the name of the vineyard. Our estate and vineyards are located on a rocky promontory 100m high above the village.

Tenuta Casa Cima is the name of the winery. Our winery and vineyards are situated on a rocky promontory 100m above the village. The 80,000 m2 estate, surrounded by vineyards, gardens, pergolas and woods can be reached in about 10 to 15 minutes by foot from our parking spaces at the cable car valley station or from our parking spaces to the west of the vineyard. In consultation with the staff, the cable car is also available to our guests for material and passenger transport.

Call us on arrival at the cable car valley station so that we can arrange the appropriate procedure for your arrival at Tenuta Casa Cima. You will receive the number before check-in.

Thanks to the micro-climate here, palm trees, kiwis, lemons and many other plants and fruits grow here that would never grow in the north. We leased our vineyards to Cantine Stucky Hügin. One of the best red wines from the region comes from our grapes.“Tracce di Sassi”

Our holiday home: Deluxe Bellavista. The Tenuta Casa Cima also includes our main house from the foundation with a beautiful garden.

For last 300 years, families, long-distance travellers have visited and admired the surroundings, the garden with exotic plants, the panorama of Lago Maggiore with the Brissago Islands, Bellinzona St. Antonino and Monte Ceneri. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you..! Far away from noise and stress.

The typical rustic architecture, the extraordinary interior of the houses and the unique atmosphere have always enchanted our guests during their holidays. Are you looking for a cool down?  Little more of water refreshments with Mother Nature? No problem! A cool dip in our stream with waterfall or in our pool is truly breath-taking. This combination of enchanting natural beauty with the endless sunny weather will make you want to come back here anytime…!

We look forward to see you!

If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere.
