Nature Pool, Waterfall
In the summer, we usually dam the water in our natural stream. You have the opportunity to walk all the way back to the waterfall – a true paradise on earth. Unfortunately, much of it was destroyed by the storm and continuous rain in 2020. See Video! We are working to restore everything, but it takes time and a lot of effort. However, we must also let nature take its course, as extreme weather has increased significantly in recent years.
Info: The stream belongs to the municipality, but it flows through our land. The municipality of Gudo refuses to restore the stream to the way it used to be. The public footpath also runs through our land. Video

Pool with a view
The pool season started again in mid-April 2025. The entire area has been newly redesigned. Our pool is fed with fresh mountain spring water – a natural and refreshing experience. We kindly ask our guests never to turn off the flow, as continuous circulation is essential, especially in hot weather, to maintain water clarity.
Pool Experience
Spend the day by the water and unwind. Our 7-meter pool is available to all holiday guests and must be shared. The location is truly unique – with breathtaking views and an atmosphere of total tranquility.
Important Notes
Please note that our pool is located outdoors in nature and filled with untreated water from the nearby stream. Depending on the weather (e.g. rain or wind), the water may occasionally become cloudy due to leaves or other natural elements. We do our best to maintain water quality with a purification pump.
During peak summer months, intense heat may lead to algae growth, which can temporarily tint the water green. In line with municipal guidelines, we do not use drinking water for outdoor purposes.
Should the pool water become too warm in midsummer, we invite you to enjoy a refreshing dip in the adjacent stream and waterfall – a true hidden gem just steps from your holiday home. Stream with waterfall. Bath towels are provided.
The swimming pool must be shared with all guests.

Summer Heat Information
During the hot summer months, the heat may affect the cable car’s operation and cause temporary shutdowns. We kindly ask for your understanding, cannot be held liable for this, and remain in constant contact with our technician regarding the matter.
When the cable car is out of service, Tenuta Casa Cima can be reached via a municipal road that leads up to our property. Drive to: Via Costa Piatta, 6515 Gudo (drive to the end of the road, see directions). There is one parking space per holiday home. From there it is a walk of about 8 minutes along our vineyards.
We thank you for your understanding and look forward to you enjoying the wonderful nature in our car-free Tenuta to the full.
Our cable car was recently completely renovated and shines in new splendour. The color was changed from blue to red. (Only for guests of Tenuta Casa Cima available.)
In consultation with the staff, the cable car is also available to our guests for material and passenger transport.
The 80,000 m2 estate, surrounded by vineyards, gardens, pergolas and woods can be reached from our parking spaces at the cable car valley station or from our parking spaces to the west of the vineyard via a footpath in approx. 10 to 15 minutes.

Our Garden & House
The entire property has a size of 80,000m². Ticino offers a micro-climate where palms, kiwis, lemons and many other plants and fruits grow that would never grow in the north.
You are welcome to enjoy our nature, the main garden belongs to the main house, however you are welcome to drop by. The region is a popular tourist destination, it attracts many tourists who spend their holidays with us in the south.
With an average of over 2,300 hours of sunshine per year and a very mild, insubrisch climate, the meteorological conditions in Ticino are extremely pleasant. Sheltered by the Alps, Ticino enjoys mild winters and typically Mediterranean summers.
Ticino is the Swiss canton with the densest and most luxuriant vegetation. The flora is typical of the Mediterranean region: camellias, magnolias, azaleas, but also palms, mimosas, orange and lemon trees grow in Ticino. The landscape is often dominated by vineyards (Merlot vines are particularly widespread). On the other hand, chestnut, hazelnut and walnut trees grow in the side valleys, up to the beech, oak and coniferous trees in the alpine regions.

On the ground floor: living room with kitchen. On the second floor: two separate bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and toilet.
The houses are intended for non-smokers; smoking is allowed outside.
Please note:
- The swimming pool on the property and the cable car must be shared with all guests.
- There is no air conditioning in the houses.

Entire house (deluxe) with 2 bedrooms, a double bed and a room with 2 romantic Biedermeier beds, plus a sofa bed in the living room, shower / bath / toilet, living / dining room (with fireplace), kitchen, sunbathing area, parking lot. (The whole house is furnished with real carpets and antique furniture. We only want guests who appreciate and care for such an ambience.
On the ground floor: Living / dining room with kitchen, toilet, garden with a view of Lago Maggiore.
On the 2nd floor: two separate bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and toilet, the other room with shower / bath and toilet.
The houses are intended for non-smokers, smoking is allowed outside.
